About The Position

Requirements

• Five plus years of previous work experience preferably in healthcare or long-term care with a proven track record in a similar position, scheduling, timekeeping, or payroll.
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control the nursing center's labor spend and process payroll according to established policies and procedures.
• Serve as the primary contact for all employees' needs regarding scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll.
• Balance nursing center staffing needs with employee schedule preferences and financial performance.
• Utilize software to minimize overtime and nursing agency spending while maintaining appropriate nursing hours per patient day (HPPD) and salary expenses within budget.
• Lead the nursing center's Labor Management Team to optimize clinical, financial, and human resource operating results against Key Performance Indicators.
• Maintain nursing center nursing staff coverage at all times.
