About The Position
The Metrology Engineer with XPS and/or SE specialization will apply their knowledge of spectroscopic ellipsometry (SE) and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) to characterize thin films for customer demonstrations, aiding in the success of meeting customer requirements. The role involves creating recipes to optimize the accuracy of XPS and SE results, supporting other metrology techniques including X-ray reflectivity (XRR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The engineer will participate in customer demo activities and work with internal groups to understand and address metrology needs. Additionally, they will generate and present metrology technique details to expand the knowledge of process engineers.
