About The Position

We are seeking a MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST in Wausau, Wisconsin at Aspirus Pulmonary & Critical Care Clinic. This individual will float between Aspirus Pulmonary & Critical Care, Aspirus Endocrinology Clinic & Aspirus Dermatology Clinic. The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting, registering, and assisting patients in a professional manner, scheduling appointments, obtaining and maintaining registration records and answering phone calls.

Requirements

• Completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of business office, customer service or healthcare experience preferred.
• Computer experience and basic computer keyboarding skills required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a professional manner.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
• Obtain and maintain registration records.
• Answer phone calls and provide information as needed.
