This position is located in our St. Petersburg area clinic(s).
Responsibilities
- EMR Charting
- Interview patients for the purpose of gathering health history and current medications.
- Take and document vital signs, including height, weight, temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Administer injections as necessary.
- Participate in mandatory staff meetings as needed.
- Assist with inventory organization and stocking of exam rooms and labs.
- Promote TOI's culture of exceptional behavioral standards for customer service.
- Assist with coverage at surrounding clinics as needed.
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Successful completion of Medical Assistant Diploma program
- High school graduate or GED
Nice-to-haves
- Medical Assistant Certificate preferred, not required.
