When you join our family, you will influence how we provide care for our patients while acting as a critical member of the entire care team. This position is located in our St. Petersburg area clinic(s).

Responsibilities

  • EMR Charting
  • Interview patients for the purpose of gathering health history and current medications.
  • Take and document vital signs, including height, weight, temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
  • Administer injections as necessary.
  • Participate in mandatory staff meetings as needed.
  • Assist with inventory organization and stocking of exam rooms and labs.
  • Promote TOI's culture of exceptional behavioral standards for customer service.
  • Assist with coverage at surrounding clinics as needed.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Successful completion of Medical Assistant Diploma program
  • High school graduate or GED

Nice-to-haves

  • Medical Assistant Certificate preferred, not required.
