Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic media plans for clients
- Present media plans to clients
- Manage and prioritize team daily work flow
- Understand and address the strategic needs of the business
- Maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Carry out buying strategies and negotiate media to maximize investment
- Proactively address process and communications issues
- Coach, guide, and provide performance management for direct reports
- Support and inspire the work and the people
- Potentially travel to attend client meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of integrated media planning experience across various channels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and changes in direction
- Working knowledge of media research tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and agency partners
- Ability to manage multiple clients/assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop and optimize processes
- College degree
- Continuous resourcefulness and problem-solving skills
- Working comprehension of strategy development
- Ability to provide performance insights and functional knowledge of media math
- Ability to apply critical thinking and analysis in business writing
- Ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal/professional relationships
- Proficiency with computer software/systems
- Preferred experience with specific media systems
- Healthcare industry and/or Michigan local market media planning and buying experience a plus
- Organizational skills to manage and prioritize team daily work flow
- Speak to the strategic needs of the business
- Possess a strong comprehension of client’s business objectives
