About The Position
We’re looking for a full-time, staff Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join our Day & Zimmermann team. Responsible for performing safe testing, commissioning and startup of completed mechanical installations to achieve the necessary plant performance in accordance with project requirements. Support the review of system definitions and P&IDs to develop commissioning scoping boundaries. Prepare mechanical system startup and turnover plans. Coordinate with the commissioning manager and safety regarding alignment on the system boundaries and LOTO locations. Coordinate testing and commissioning activities and provide advice on testing and commissioning procedures and documentation in accordance with equipment manufacturers requirements. Prepare/execute the system for start up. Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and assume responsibility for your area of commissioning.
