About The Position

This instructor will teach Math courses to 10th, 11th, and/or 12th grade students. Courses taught by the Math Department include: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Mathematical Modeling & Reasoning, Probability & Statistics, and Medical Math. This position will support the delivery of College Credit Plus (CCP) programming.

Requirements

• Appropriate licensure/certification through the Ohio State Board of Education covering all Mathematics course areas required such as Integrated Mathematics (110094) or Mathematics (110000)
• Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in mathematics content area or willingness to earn qualifications to teach CCP content
• Willingness/ability to work with students, teachers and administrators as a team member
• Computer expertise appropriate to the position
• Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills
• State-issued identification card with photograph
• History of strong work record, including good job attendance
• Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy.
