About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a warehouse setting preferred
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
• Familiarity with materials handling techniques
• Forklift experience
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
• Ability to operate equipment like pallet jacks and RF scanners
• Understanding of OSHA regulations for safe material handling
• Capability to lift and move heavy items as needed

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of material handling experience
• 1 year of warehouse experience
• 1 year of SAP experience
• 1 year of shipping experience
• 1 year of chemical handling experience
• 1 year of manufacturing experience
• 1 year of forklift experience
• 1 year of hazardous material handling experience

Responsibilities

• Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and orders
• Perform materials handling duties such as loading, unloading, and storing items
• Operate equipment including pallet jacks, RF scanners, and potentially cranes
• Execute shipping and receiving tasks with attention to detail
• Build and wrap pallets for shipments
• Conduct order picking according to pick lists
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards while handling materials
