About The Position

Avant Garde Preschool & Early Learning Centers is seeking a Master Toddler Teacher to join their team. This full-time position involves working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center, focusing on providing quality care and education. The role requires preparing and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, maintaining a safe and organized classroom, and fostering positive relationships with families.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Child Development Associate Certification
• Master teacher and classroom experience required
• Ability to pass all background checks

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
• Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine.
• Use the parent communication app efficiently.
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
• Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
• Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
