Our unique portfolio includes primarily Spanish language TV & Radio broadcast assets across 35 markets, an exclusive audio network & streaming platform, and a robust mix of curated digital & social media content solutions. The Master Control Operator/NOC position is part-time and based in McAllen, TX. The role involves controlling all on-air equipment and ensuring the quality of final on-air signals, executing and monitoring audio/video quality of daily programming, maintaining daily program logs, and troubleshooting effectively with other departments.
Responsibilities
- Control all on-air equipment and responsible for quality of final on-air signal.
- Live on-air audio/video switching.
- Load Playlist and execute daily programming using the Leitch automation system.
- Monitor audio/video quality of programming and take corrective action when necessary.
- Load Program tapes as needed.
- Oversee dub commercials and promotional spots into Leitch and tape back-up.
- Maintain daily program log and updates throughout the day.
- Record incoming feeds.
Requirements
- Technical Capability in Microsoft Office and PC operating system.
- Strong communication and strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively with other departments.
- Understanding, experience and exposure to TV and Radio broadcasting is a plus.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
- Some Master Control experience preferred.
