About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an ongoing media and community relations program.
  • Provide crisis communications assistance to properties.
  • Build brand and property awareness to drive revenue.
  • Collaborate with local, regional, and national resources to increase exposure for the property and restaurants.
  • Solicit new media outlets and travel media individuals.
  • Select opportunities for the property based on market conditions and needs.
  • Use creative selling abilities to obtain maximum exposure through travel journalists and media outlets.
  • Maintain website content and update promotions to generate revenue.
  • Manage the hotel's social media efforts, if applicable.
  • Organize and conduct photo shoots for website content.
  • Coordinate offers and information for publications and inserts regarding brand loyalty reward mailings.
  • Develop brochure and property collateral materials.
  • Participate in property imaging work, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with travel writers and local media.
  • Conduct solicitation and maintenance calls to media.
  • Develop relationships with e-commerce vendors and distribution channels.
  • Provide communications channels with creative tools for public relations efforts.
  • Assist in developing promotions for various campaigns.
  • Evaluate new public relations opportunities for the property.
  • Manage individual and group media visits.
  • Identify and coordinate community service activities.
  • Create contracts for location photo shoots and trade agreements.
  • Direct creative print fulfillment, ensuring compliance with branding standards.
  • Write hotel press releases and other content for media.
