About The Position

ASI is the largest global provider of technology B2B services for the $26.1 billion promotional products industry (branding and marketing). With 25,000 clients in 53 countries, our mission is to inspire, inform, and empower our clients' success every step of the way. ASI currently has a hybrid work model. This position requires in person attendance at our office on Tuesday's and Wednesday's. As the Marketing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, from event promotion to content creation to working in a collaborative space. You will gain a solid understanding of marketing concepts by working on projects related to event marketing. The Marketing Intern will report to the Brand & Events Marketing Manager and join ASI's Marketing Department. This is a paid internship with an hourly pay-rate of $17.00 per hour. Working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm ET.

Requirements

  • Junior or Senior level students majoring in Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with video editing software and a creative mindset for developing engaging content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive and eager to learn in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Event Marketing Manager in organizing and coordinating marketing and informational initiatives for ASI events, with a focus on our Hosted Buyer Events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including sales, design, copywriting, and marketing—to produce engaging promotional materials, event signage, and sales collateral.
  • Leverage digital tools to create social media content and interactive walkthroughs that drive event awareness and participation.
  • Conduct research and contribute creative content that highlights ASI event brands, helping to enhance industry visibility and engagement.
  • Assist in managing event attendee data, ensuring accurate records and timely updates.
  • Follow up with exhibitors and attendees to address outstanding tasks, such as completing registrations, submitting required materials, or confirming participation.
