This is a full-time internship opportunity, Monday - Friday. This internship will be a hybrid working opportunity but you are required to be in the Southern New Jersey/Philadelphia area.

Requirements

  • 0-1 year of experience in a marketing communications environment.
  • Earned high school diploma and currently enrolled in a marketing or related field undergraduate program.
  • Understand general marketing concepts.
  • Ability to budget time wisely and document progress across multiple projects.
  • Enjoy didactic learning.
  • Experience with HTML and Hubspot or any marketing automation software.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in collaborating with customer care, product management, and regulatory departments to create informational communications as part of change management.
  • Help plan communication campaigns targeting relevant audiences across various channels.
  • Write and proofread copy, ensuring proper approvals from necessary departments.
  • Deploy communications using marketing automation software or other channels as required.
  • Support the marketing team in maintaining up-to-date transactional emails with relevant cross-sell opportunities.
  • Work with customer care to ensure transactional messages are customer-friendly, accurate, and informative.
  • Coordinate with various teams to create new transactional email templates when needed.
  • Assist in writing, editing, and scheduling emails using marketing automation software.
  • Attend monthly meetings with sales teams to discuss goals and upcoming campaigns.
  • Manage sales team requests, setting clear expectations for content delivery timelines.
  • Analyze campaign results and transfer qualified leads to the sales teams.
  • Set up and maintain digital engagement lead scoring within marketing automation software.
  • Help create and curate content that aligns with the company's marketing and branding goals.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to build the social media calendar.
  • Assist in researching, designing, and launching social media campaigns.
  • Measure and analyze the performance of social media campaigns.
  • Ensure consistent branding and voice across all social media platforms.
  • Attend company events and provide live social media coverage.
  • Monitor social media channels for emerging industry trends and relevant content.
  • Provide support to the Event Manager by setting up lead funnels and follow-up activities for trade shows.
  • Assist in updating the promotional calendar for the department on a weekly basis.
  • Monitor the health of the email list and collaborate with the sales team to update email addresses as needed.
