About the position
The Marketing Director at Attest will be responsible for shaping the company's short and long-term marketing strategy, with a focus on scaling the inbound pipeline, revenue performance, and channel activity. They will lead a team of 4 across various marketing functions and work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to co-develop and implement the marketing strategy. The Marketing Director will also collaborate with other departments to improve performance, increase pipeline quality and volume, and enhance the brand and product messaging. Proven experience in senior marketing leadership roles and a data-driven mindset are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Co-develop and oversee implementation of a marketing strategy aligned with broader Commercial goals and strategy
- Co-plan and be partial owner of the Marketing budget
- Partner with Product to understand Attest's offering and position it effectively in the market
- Operate hand-in-hand with Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, and Product leadership to improve performance
- Identify strategic opportunities to increase pipeline quality and volume
- Improve marketing performance reporting to measure effectiveness, performance, and ROI
- Assess the effectiveness of and manage external marketing agency relationships
- Influence and guide the Attest brand, voice, and positioning
- Oversee the development of brand and product messaging
- Coach and develop a high-performing team
- Deliver growth in a senior marketing leadership role
- Have a varied marketing experience across key functions
- Have knowledge and experience of pre- and post-sales marketing
- Be a creative thought-leader with a bias towards action
- Demonstrate analytical and reporting ability with a data-driven mindset
- Have exposure to working with Product and driving change
- Create, communicate, and execute a Marketing strategy with stakeholders
- Have strong managerial experience and the ability to hire, develop, and retain a high-performing team
- Have knowledge and hands-on experience with popular marketing and sales automation systems
- Experience in ResTech is valuable but not essential.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering growth in a senior marketing leadership role at a high growth B2B SaaS company
- History of having a varied marketing experience with impact across key marketing functions
- Knowledge and experience of pre- and post-sales marketing
- A creative thought-leader with a strong bias towards action
- Demonstrable analytical and reporting ability with a data-driven mindset
- Experience working with Product and driving change
- Strong managerial experience with the ability to hire, develop, retain, and maintain a high-performing team
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with popular marketing and sales automation systems, particularly Salesforce and Pardot
