About the position
As a Northern Europe Market Manager - CRM and Engagement at Airbnb, you will play a crucial role in managing and acquiring high-quality inventory at scale to ensure the supply health and growth in the region. Your main responsibility will be to build Airbnb's strong market presence by collaborating with other teams and serving as the local in-market expert for tens of thousands of hosts. With a deep understanding of Airbnb's mission and values, you will develop and implement localized supply management strategies, catering to both established and emerging markets, to ensure long-term market success.
Responsibilities
- Create and deploy scaled marketing strategies to effectively manage & optimize tens of thousands of Host accounts in Northern Europe through scaled communication
- Coordinate with the central engagement team to have a unified comms calendar for hosts in Northern Europe with an aligned strategy, tone, and voice
- Handle operational complexity and maximize the impact of limited resources
- Support host community programs in the region
- Analyze data and utilize data-driven recommendations to identify and action on strategic opportunities to drive an increase in sales
- Prospect and onboard new, high-quality supply at scale in Northern Europe
- Maintain a baseline understanding of the technical integration of various software partners to provide the right support to clients
- Represent Airbnb in external meetings and at industry conferences
- Educate clients on significant product changes and cascade feedback on product and policy to relevant internal stakeholders
- Develop deep knowledge of assigned geographic markets and become the go-to source for all information relating to local trends and market dynamics for internal and external partners
- Work cross-functionally with product, communications, public policy teams, etc.
Requirements
- Proven ability to handle operational complexity and maximize limited resources
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively manage and optimize tens of thousands of Host accounts
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and ability to deploy scaled communication to improve Host listing/offering and grow their business results
- Ability to support and address Host issues at scale to improve Host sentiment
- Familiarity with Product, Policies, and Trends in the Airbnb platform and ability to educate the host community on these topics
- Coordination with central engagement team to align comms calendar and strategy for hosts in Northern Europe
- Analytical skills to analyze data and make data-driven recommendations to drive sales increase in the region
- Ability to prospect and onboard new, high-quality supply at scale in Northern Europe
- Understanding of technical integration of software partners to provide support to clients
- Representation of Airbnb in external meetings and industry conferences
- Knowledge of local trends and market dynamics in assigned geographic markets
