Managing Director, Engineering

Able, a product design and development studio, is seeking a Managing Director of Engineering to lead and inspire their team and clients. They are looking for a natural builder who is driven to create innovative solutions. The role involves evolving the technical vision, driving business growth through client engagements, and providing cultural and operational leadership. The ideal candidate should have extensive technology leadership experience, a hands-on engineering background, and a passion for continuous learning and collaboration.

• 10+ years of technology leadership experience
• Extensive hands-on engineering background, ideally in digital agency and enterprise settings
• Comfortable reviewing code or having technical discussions with a CTO and presenting to non-technical executives
• Proven success in supporting rapid business growth
• Relentless pursuit of understanding and learning, applying newfound knowledge to work and life
