Overview We seek a highly skilled and results-driven Sr Manager of Business Advisory and Development to join our team. In this role, you will focus on driving the strategy, business development, and sales of Salesforce solutions, you will collaborate with senior leaders within Fortune 1000 clients to identify their business needs, map those needs to the right solutions, close new business, and develop long-term relationships to help clients realize and maximize value from their Salesforce investments.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of consulting and business development experience, with a focus on enterprise software or IT solutions.
  • Proven track record in establishing strong relationships with C-levels, with a deep understanding of how to uncover client needs and tailor solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and/or equivalent SaaS products and their application in business environments, particularly in sales, marketing, commerce, and service functions.
  • Ability to work with technical teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of core industry challenges across Finance, Health and Life Sciences, and Manufacturing.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting sales targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience with SalesForce's full suite of solutions, including the latest products leveraging agentic AI.
  • Salesforce certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, Agile methodologies, and other industry best practices.
  • Bachelor's Degree, Advanced Degree a plus.
  • Core management consulting skills include: Design Client business cases.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans and GTM motions to drive the adoption of Salesforce solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and building relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Conduct consultative workshops to uncover customer pain points and provide tailored solutions that align with client needs.
  • Work closely with Salesforce pre-sales and technical teams to understand the technical capabilities of the Salesforce platform and effectively leverage those to transform our clients' businesses.
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure, ensuring that all aspects of the sales process are addressed.
  • Present and demonstrate the value proposition of DXC and Salesforce, emphasizing our ability to drive business transformation through high-value engineering and automation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders within clients, ensuring continued satisfaction and driving opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain detailed records of sales activity, client interactions, and follow-up actions in CRM systems.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and industry trends to effectively position solutions and meet client demands.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and materials that support the sales process.
