Requirements

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Nice To Haves

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 5-8 years professional experience, experience in social impact, sustainability, marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field a plus
  • Experience working in financial inclusion, financial education, small business empowerment, or sustainability preferred
  • Skilled in creative production and social impact storytelling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear and compelling narratives
  • Exceptional professional writing and visual design skills with a strong portfolio of work
  • Proven track record in client and relationship management
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail
  • Understanding of information architecture and knowledge management
  • A team player and collaborator, able to work well with diverse global stakeholders in a matrixed environment, ranging from junior to executive level
  • Experience working on a global team with regional counterparts
  • Advanced level of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required; Knowledge of Sharepoint a plus
  • Exceptional personal accountability and the highest of ethical standards
  • Growth mindset with a commitment to curiosity and learning

Responsibilities

  • Partner internally and externally with relevant stakeholders to source, curate, and produce social impact stories that engage and inspire target audiences
  • Craft and curate high-quality written pieces for select stories, including case studies, blog posts, and other storytelling formats
  • Effectively lead interactions with a range of clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met in impact storytelling assets
  • Manage, update, and elevate Visa's internal social impact knowledge management platform, ensuring its information architecture is optimized for usability
  • Develop content strategies and coordinate cross-regional collaboration for key Social Impact & Sustainability programs and campaigns
  • Develop and improve channels and tools that enable better knowledge sharing across the Social Impact & Sustainability team
  • Identify opportunities to improve connectivity between regional and global Social Impact & Sustainability teams
  • Create processes for maintaining up-to-date knowledge sources for cross-functional use
  • Uncover opportunities to integrate social impact narratives into other functional strategies and storytelling opportunities
  • Oversee and manage the budget for social impact content projects
  • Measure and optimize the impact of social impact storytelling initiatives
