About The Position

We seek a driven and highly competent lead to drive short- and long-term planning, event management, and operational support as part of the Chief of Staff office for the Consumer, Marketing, Communications, and Design group. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and be extraordinarily capable of juggling diverse responsibilities. Working as an individual contributor, you must be a masterful problem-solver, an exceptional communicator, and an organizational force.

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience in an operational function supporting executive leadership and teams in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Experience in planning and executing events, and associated project management strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Slack-based environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and prioritize leadership and team deliverables; able to adapt to rapidly shifting priorities.
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership over sometimes ambiguous tasks and situations with little oversight.
  • Execute with high confidentiality, integrity, discretion, and high attention to detail.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills. Communicate clearly, succinctly, and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic approach to short- and long-term planning of the executive leadership calendar, ensuring operating model sequencing, timing, and requirements.
  • Understand business priorities, deliver operational excellence, and proactively anticipate and support the needs of our Senior Leaders.
  • Align with leadership on monthly/quarterly priorities and focus areas. Understand and help to execute our people and business priorities and processes.
  • Drive annual and quarterly planning process and calendarization. Manage our 'high level' calendar to visualize critical meetings, sequencing, and travel ensuring efficiency and appropriate planning.
  • Develop prep schedule and align with key stakeholders; drive timelines and deliverables across the leadership team.
  • Strategic approach to developing and executing events. Ensure each event delivers anticipated impact and outcome. Align with Senior Leaders on meeting and event goals and expectations.
  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of events including leadership kickoffs, summits and conferences, strategic offsites, quarterly 'All Hands', and monthly forums.
  • Lead planning and processes for event logistics inclusive of on and off-site arrangements, travel, catering, guest services, team-building activities, etc.
  • Anticipate and resolve planning conflicts. Ensure ad-hoc meeting requests have a clearly defined purpose and time zone sensitivities are considered.
  • React with appropriate urgency to requests/situations requiring a quick turnaround and take effective action without full context.
  • Engage with Corporate Communications to drive management of EVP comms and associated operational activities.
  • Foster strong relationships and trust with Executive Assistants, Business Operations, and key business partners across PayPal.
