About The Position

The Manager in Training position at Scooter's Coffee is designed for proactive and confident individuals who are eager to learn about coffee management and leadership. This full-time role offers a comprehensive training program lasting up to 90 days, focusing on all aspects of running a coffee store and leading a team. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress to a Store Manager position upon completion of the training.

Responsibilities

• Learn and master the Barista and Shift Leader positions.
• Build relationships with customers and nurture a 'Family' feeling among staff members.
• Provide coaching and direction for the team.
• Set goals for the barista team and ensure exceptional customer service.
• Solve problems independently during high volume times.
• Engage baristas in meeting performance indicators and develop their leadership skills.
• Welcome questions and seek opportunities to educate on products.
• Suggestively sell gift cards and additional products.
• Manage cash drawer and follow established cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of coworker and customer areas.
