About the position
The Information is seeking a Manager of Growth Analytics to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing insight and analysis to drive the growth of the business. They will be able to think strategically about what's next and uncover opportunities that will drive successful growth of products and revenue. The role requires expertise in SQL and large datasets, statistical analysis, and experiment design. The Manager of Growth Analytics will report to the VP of Growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of subscription and brand partnership products, including A/B/N tests, churn and conversion modeling, segmentation/funnel studies, clustering/user profiles, and financial modeling and projections.
- Understand the role of subscription churn, subscription upsell, and conversion in the success of the overall subscription business and identify opportunities to drive growth.
- Investigate and share the impact of experiments, product launches, and other macro-level events on KPIs, growth, and revenue.
- Have 5+ years of experience in analytics, operations, or strategy and 2+ years of experience in web-based or mobile performance marketing.
- Be highly proficient or expert in SQL and large datasets, statistical analysis, common quant techniques like regression, and experiment design.
- Be highly proficient or expert in one or more visualization tools, preferably Periscope, Looker, or Tableau, with the ability to translate insights into actionable outcomes.
- Have a B.S. in a quantitative degree (CS, Engineering, Physics, Math, Statistics, Business, Economics, or related field), with an advanced degree being a bonus.
- Have a track record of independent work that meets or exceeds goals against clearly stated objectives.
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, operations, or strategy and 2+ years experience in web-based or mobile performance marketing. Background in subscription model analytics is a plus, but not required.
- Expertise with SQL and large datasets; in-depth understanding of statistical analysis, common quant techniques like regression, etc., and experiment design.
- Highly proficient or expert in one or more visualization tools, preferably Periscope, Looker, or Tableau with the ability to translate insights into actionable outcomes.
