To thrive as a Make & Ship Operator, you will coordinate and transfer finished goods from manufacturing to distribution. You must be able to safely operate a forklift and or reach truck to move and store materials. Every day you will receive pallets from the filling department and transfer the finished goods to either the distribution warehouse or stage for an outgoing truck. You will start off by performing the safety checklist for your power industrial vehicles (PIV). Throughout your shift, you will use a scan gun to direct and coordinate moving finished goods from the filling department to the truck or staging areas. Basic computer skills are required as you will be creating the Bill of Lading (BOL). Based on production needs, you may be asked to help in the Receiving Department. All team members are expected to help keep their workstations safe and clean at all times, which includes the staging and dock area.
