About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of equipment and facility. Activities include both planned and predictive maintenance and breakdown repair.

Requirements

  • Trade school certification or an Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience as a multi-craft maintenance technician in an industrial setting preferred.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with PLC systems, including programming and troubleshooting.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including 3-phase power, control circuits, and various electrical devices.
  • Knowledge of plant utility systems, industrial machine repair, and machine tool operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience using electrical testing equipment (ammeters, meggers, etc.).
  • Thorough understanding of and adherence to safety procedures and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery, electrical systems, and building infrastructure.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Install new equipment and systems, including machinery, electrical wiring, and conduit.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts orders.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve department and site goals.
  • Effectively communicate with engineers, production staff, and contractors.
  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Perform general building maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing repairs, and groundskeeping.
