About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for general facility and equipment repairs. This role may require performing HVAC services or other skilled duties as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum two years maintenance and repair experience required.
• Strong mechanical ability required.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or other mechanical certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance to the interior and exterior of the building, fixtures, appliances, and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical equipment or machinery, demonstrating knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Program Programmable Logic Controllers using basic and ladder logic.
• Understand and apply Confined Space Requirements and Permitting and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
• Schedule Preventative Maintenance and maintain logs for all buildings and equipment.
• Schedule and oversee any third-party contractors visiting the facility for repairs or maintenance.
• Inspect ladders, dock doors, dock lights, dock plates, and personnel door access for safe operation.
• Operate battery changing equipment/station for powered industrial equipment.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the direct Supervisor.
