About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical systems, mechanical maintenance, and safety protocols. This role involves leading a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all facility equipment. This role is also responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of all electrical and instrumentation systems within our facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Technical or Vocational training in mechanical or electrical maintenance preferred.
  • Journeyman level preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in industrial maintenance leadership.
  • Training with mechanical, electrical and safety instrumentation is preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Microsoft Office experience required.
  • Ability to use analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends and provide actionable insight.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and other relevant tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians in performing routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and safety instrumentation.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of all equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collaborate with the Center of Excellence and other corporate teams to achieve increase improvement in manufacturing metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory of spare parts.
  • Train and mentor other technicians, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology to recommend improvements and upgrades.
  • Other duties as required.
