About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor at Arcadia Cold Storage is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of all equipment within a cold storage facility. This includes managing a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring proper training, and maintaining refrigeration systems and other equipment. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of warehouse inventory-related experience or training.
• Ability to identify technical defects in refrigeration systems and other equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and overall warehouse maintenance skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of a team of maintenance professionals.
• Perform refrigeration repairs, cleaning, and full service.
• Monitor the entire refrigeration system and check all freezer temperatures.
• Conduct weekly leak checks of the refrigeration system.
• Coordinate with the General Manager on major projects and budget considerations.
• Ensure proper utilization of the computer maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Set up and install new equipment, and modify or renovate existing equipment as needed.
• Perform demand and preventive maintenance for the cold storage facility.
• Utilize motorized lift and rental equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Provide off-hour call and weekend coverage for system outages.
