About The Position

The position involves working as a Maintenance Machinist, Manual Lathe Operator, or CNC Programmer and Operator within a printing and fabrication environment. Requirements

• High School and/or Trade School Diploma.
• Basic machinist skills on lathe, milling machine, and drill presses.
• Knowledge of safety precautions in machinist work.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to work any shift, including holidays and weekends.
• Membership in the International Association of Machinists.
• Possession of basic hand tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with newspaper printing press operations.
• Advanced welding skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform predictive and corrective maintenance on newspaper production machinery.
• Operate manual lathe and perform welding tasks (ARC and TIG).
• Program and operate CNC machines for metal and glass fabrication.
• Utilize lathe, milling, and brake press machines as required.
