At First State Community Bank there are over 60 buildings maintained as part of our operation across the state of Missouri. To keep them in superior shape we retain a maintenance crew of three full time personnel that assist with everything from drilling safe deposit boxes to branch remodels. This has also created a great opportunity for someone to learn a variety of skills from our trained staff as a maintenance intern. Some of the things our intern should expect while in the program are as follows: Working with the maintenance team to ensure work areas are clean, addressing maintenance related incidents (e.g., spills), troubleshooting and addressing basic repairs and maintenance including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, glazier, and painting tasks, ordering parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers, or obtaining them from storerooms, and recording maintenance and repair work performed, as well as associated costs.
