About The Position
The Machine Operator is responsible for producing high quality product per customer specifications. This role involves maintaining a safe and clean working environment, reading job tickets to understand customer and company requirements, and producing products that meet those requirements. The operator will set up print heads, chip programming, and mag stripe encoding as per job requirements, consistently achieve production time requirements and standards, and use the AZ's Color Management System to match artwork color to proof. Quality assurance is a key aspect of the role, requiring the operator to inspect all aspects of the personalized cards at predetermined intervals and ensure compliance with all work procedures relating to the machine, verification, quality system, packaging, and pack-out processes. The operator will also participate in training and orientation of new employees and communicate effectively with supervisors to clarify job status and prioritize tasks.
