The LPN Program Coordinator is responsible for supervising all aspects of the Licensed Practical Nursing program, including the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, compliance, development, implementation, and general effectiveness, including instructor supervision. The Program Coordinator teaches in his/her assigned area, works with faculty to promote continuous improvement of the quality of instruction, is responsible for faculty training and development, and coordination and administration of the academic program for achievement of student outcomes. We are currently interviewing candidates for this on-ground, full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all aspects of the Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Organize, administer, and continuously review the program.
  • Ensure compliance and development of the program.
  • Implement and assess the general effectiveness of the program.
  • Supervise instructors and faculty.
  • Teach in assigned area.
  • Promote continuous improvement of the quality of instruction.
  • Responsible for faculty training and development.
  • Coordinate and administer the academic program to achieve student outcomes.

Requirements

  • Possess effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or higher.
  • Hold an unrestricted RN license to practice in North Carolina or in one of the eNLC compact states.
  • Minimum of 2 years of full-time clinical nursing experience.
  • Experience teaching at the post-secondary level required.
