About The Position

The position is for a Middle School Teaching/Special Education Teacher at Township of Ocean Intermediate School. This is a long-term substitute role that will begin on September 3, 2024, and will continue through December 20, 2024. Following this period, the position will transition to a contracted role from January 2, 2025, to June 30, 2025. The teacher will be responsible for providing educational support to students with disabilities and ensuring that they receive the necessary accommodations to succeed in their academic pursuits.

Requirements

• Teacher of the Handicapped certification required
• Teacher of Students w/Disabilities and Elementary certification or Middle School Language arts required

Nice To Haves

• Wilson Reading certification preferred

Benefits

• $150 per day
• $175 per day (on the 16th day)
• $250 per day (on the 61st day)
