Could you be the full-time onsite Logistics Engineer in Plattsburgh, NY, US we're looking for? Your future role will involve taking on a new challenge and applying your comprehensive logistics and engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates. You'll design, develop, and implement solutions that significantly enhance logistic flows and meet QCDE (Quality Cost Delivery Environment and Health & Safety) targets, directly impacting the efficiency and sustainability of our operations. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality Control), manage logistics specifications and packaging requirements, and much more.

  • Designing and developing solutions to improve logistic flows
  • Ensuring compliance with regional priorities regarding material flow, storage, and packaging
  • Coordinating last-mile delivery from third-party logistics facilities, ensuring materials are sent to the plant for production
  • Creating specialized delivery devices to optimize inbound logistics, focusing on creating line-side deliveries that meet production expectations
  • Meeting production expectations while adhering to EHS standards and ergonomic requirements
  • Minimizing packaging time for operators through efficient design and process implementation
  • Maintaining respect for ERP rules, particularly within SAP Warehouse Management and Inventory Management modules
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Experience or understanding of industrial/manufacturing environments
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes and best practices
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP (Warehouse Management and Inventory Management modules) - desirable
  • Work with logistics specifications and packaging requirements to enhance supply chain efficiency
