About The Position

As a Logistics Coordinator at Biocair, you will deliver high-quality service in the logistics industry by performing daily customer service and operational tasks while adhering to industry regulations and company targets for top clients in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.

Requirements

• Customer service skills, including managing difficult conversations effectively
• Organizational skills with an emphasis on compliance and efficiency
• Experience working within a multimodal logistics and/or freight forwarding role or in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within a cold chain, time-sensitive, or pharmaceutical setting

Nice To Haves

• Education or a background in science, pharmaceutical, or health sciences is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Provide industry leading customer service, via phone and online, to Biocair's clientele in the pharmaceutical and life science industries
• Review customer shipping requests, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information provided, and query any missing/inaccurate information with the customer
• Work alongside the warehouse to provide correct temperature-controlled packaging selection recommendations to meet customer needs, considering commodity size, temperature requirements, and transit time
• Prepare all shipment documentation for export, domestic, and import forwarding-on shipments, in compliance with appropriate regulations
• Log any irregularities in the shipment process as a non-conformance report, escalating to the correct department when necessary
