Requirements

• MUST HAVE MACHINE OPERATOR EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.
• 1-year manufacturing experience required.
• 1-year extrusion machine operator experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and write English, fluently. Bi-lingual a Plus!
• Ability to perform simple math, and take measurements required.
• Must be able to recognize colors.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of extruders, printers, reelers, quality control standards, and product specifications.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read the work order and perform set ups, change overs and adjustments for the order.
• Properly monitors extrusion production including produced product, equipment, performs quality checks on product and maintains the coiling area.
• Assist to start reels, set up and monitors product for quality and conformity.
• Monitors operating parameters of product and extrusion equipment to confirm that product materials and quality requirements are being met.
• Maintains accurate documentation of all product dimensions on production reports and accurately tracks 'Lost Production Hours' including the reasons for lost time.
• Ensures pipe is marked with proper print line as specified in the quality manual.
• Follows all company-standard and position-specific safety requirements, and reports any unsafe working conditions or broken equipment.
• Follows and complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Additional duties as required.
