About the position
The Lifecycle Marketing Associate will be responsible for implementing and executing omni-channel communications strategies to support and grow the business. They will work closely with the Lifecycle Marketing Manager to optimize email, push, and SMS communications, conduct A/B tests, and track performance. The associate will also collaborate with various departments to support campaigns, newsletters, and automated communications. Strong coding skills, familiarity with technology platforms, and experience in email marketing are required for this role. The associate will play a crucial role in enhancing user experience and driving engagement through personalized communication journeys.
Responsibilities
- Support omni-channel communications such as campaigns, newsletters, automated and transactional communications
- QA testing of emails and canvases & troubleshooting HTML related issues
- Build, optimize, and A/B test emails, push, and SMS communications
- Implement and keep track of investors' communication journey
- Build and code canvases (automated journeys) using webhooks, Liquid, etc.
- Understand the importance of creating impact along every step of the investor's journey
- Maintain and distribute KPI reporting to monitor and improve marketing campaigns and canvases
- Create and implement strategies to improve engagement, list health, and support list growth
- Segment users based on engagement history, tenure, and investing behavior
- Identify and implement communication automations where needed (content blocks, API calls, etc.)
- Execute day-to-day operational tasks to support the marketing program (email, SMS, push)
- Utilize HTML/CSS and email marketing best practices to create and code interactive experiences for email
- Design and optimize nurture and drip campaigns
- Develop, manage, and optimize email drip series to deliver personalized messages.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience working in email marketing and/or customer journeys
- Experience with ESPs (Braze, Salesforce, Marketo, Iterable etc.)
- Experience with Liquid Template Language, writing, testing, and executing API calls via Postman (Shopify)
- Ability to execute day-to-day operational tasks to support the marketing program (email, sms, push), from creative setup and HTML coding to testing/QA and deployment to intended audiences
- Experience utilizing HTML/CSS and email marketing best practices to create and code interactive experiences for email
- Strong understanding of design and optimization of nurture and drip campaigns
- Development, management, and optimization of email drip series to deliver personalized messages
