About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Primary Care assists practitioners in performing procedures, managing telephone prescription orders and refills, maintaining patient records, and relaying test results. The LPN provides safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor within their scope of practice. The Primary Care teams at Samaritan Health Services offer comprehensive health care for all family members, from newborns to seniors, encouraging preventive care, including annual exams, health screenings, and counseling regarding health and lifestyle.

Requirements

• Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Lab/EKG experience preferred.

• Knowledge of medical records, procedures, and terminology.
