About the position
innovaTel is seeking full and part-time Licensed Clinical Social Workers licensed in the state of Georgia to perform initial mental health diagnostic assessments with treatment recommendations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document clinical findings and services provided in the electronic medical record. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be well-versed in using EHRs, and have experience caring for patients with Serious Mental Illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. Responsibilities
- Perform initial mental health diagnostic assessments with treatment recommendations.
- Develop an individualized, prescriptive treatment plan to fit the needs of each patient using appropriate diagnostic criteria.
- Develop a strong rapport with a diverse set of patients (socioeconomic status, age, sexual orientation etc.) exclusively through the telehealth modality.
- Document concurrently all clinical findings and services provided in the electronic medical record as required by standards of care.
- Participate in treatment meetings, consultation, and collaboration with members of clinical team.
- Be present and available on-screen for the duration of the contracted hours.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker license in the state of Georgia
- Certified and / or experienced in common therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, TFCBT and Motivational Interviewing
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills, positive relationship building skills and critical analysis
- Flexibility and ability to adjust to needs of clinic partners (e.g., same-day appointments, patients in crisis, technology outages, etc.)
- Well versed in using EHRs, confident in a virtual setting and concurrent documentation
- Experienced in caring for patients with Serious Mental Illness (preferred)
- Experienced in caring for patients with co-occurring substance use disorders (preferred)
- Previous telemedicine experience and skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients (preferred)
