Lead Product Manager

As a Lead Product Manager in the Search team at Careem, you will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Search platform. This role requires experience in building and scaling search platforms across multiple product lines. You will collaborate with various teams within the company and serve as a liaison between leadership, engineering, design, operations, and marketing. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring the Platform product team members. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to the growth of a centralized search platform at Careem.

• Leading the product area for Careem's Search platform
• Developing the strategy and vision for the evolution of search
• Building and driving the roadmap for the search platform
• Working closely with vertical teams to enable cross-cutting experiences
• Managing stakeholders and providing a principled framework for decision making and prioritization
• Managing, growing, and mentoring the Platform product team members
• Creating a culture of impact and innovation
• Having 5+ years of product management experience in building and scaling search platforms
• Demonstrating evidence of unlocking product-led growth in the B2B/B2B2C space

• 5+ years of product management experience in building and scaling search platforms
• Clear evidence of unlocking crazy, product-led growth in the B2B/B2B2C space
• Experience in building search platforms and scaling them across multiple use cases/product lines
• Strong strategic and commercial thinking
• Technical acumen
• Distinctive communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to zoom out and see the big picture, as well as zoom in to address finer details
• Experience working across different areas of a company and serving as a liaison between various teams
