About The Position

The Lead Mitigation Technician at Property Medics of Georgia is responsible for overseeing a team that handles various mitigation tasks related to water, fire, and mold damage. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in water mitigation.
• IICRC Certification required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 70lbs without assistance.
• Self-motivated and able to work well individually and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing mitigation team duties to ensure smooth and efficient job execution.
• Performing water damage extraction, drying, minor demolition, and pack out.
• Conducting mold remediation and fire damage tasks including board up, structure stabilization, and smoke cleaning.
• Managing trash removal and restoration tasks such as contents manipulation and cleaning.
• Taking moisture readings at each job site to ensure accurate completion.
• Ensuring proper paperwork and photos are completed for each job.
• Coordinating material supply and delivery.
• Participating in on-call rotation for new emergency calls.
