About The Position

The Lead Data Analyst at D&G will support the Defense Logistics Agency's ARTET Program, focusing on developing innovative logistics solutions to enhance warfighter readiness. This role involves working with complex data sets, optimizing logistics and supply chain infrastructures, and collaborating with various stakeholders to address data-related technical issues in a cloud-based environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a technical field.
• 10 years of experience in Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar roles supporting DoD/Federal Agencies.
• Must have one certification from the DoD 8570 list (e.g., CCNA-Security, Security+ CE).
• Must have one certification from the DLA Approved list (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with big data tools like Kafka, Spark, and Hadoop.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and Python.

Responsibilities

• Support the ARTET Team with the development of technical and engineering solutions for DoD's logistics and business processes.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements for logistics and supply chain infrastructures.
• Develop and enhance DoD and DLA infrastructures for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading using AWS and SQL technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams to resolve data-related technical issues.
• Work with DLA databases and big data tools such as Kafka, Spark, and Hadoop.
