About The Position

The Laundromat Attendant at Gator Laundry is responsible for providing excellent customer service while managing laundry operations. This part-time role involves handling cash payments, sorting and washing laundry, maintaining cleanliness in the store, and assisting customers with machines and services. The position requires a commitment to on-site work and adherence to uniform standards.

Requirements

• 1 year of customer service experience (required).
• Ability to commute to Lafayette, LA 70501 (required).
• Ability to relocate to Lafayette, LA 70501 before starting work (required).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with wash dry fold laundry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Handle cash payments for customers.
• Stay on-site throughout the entire shift.
• Receive wash and fold orders and enter them into the computer.
• Sort laundry items by colors and whites.
• Perform washing of customer laundry.
• Load and operate dryers, ensuring proper weight and temperature settings.
• Neatly fold and bag laundry for customer pickup.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including wiping counters and machine tops.
• Ensure trash is not overflowing and keep the floor dry and clear of debris.
• Keep the bathroom clean and stocked.
• Assist customers in using washers, dryers, vending machines, and coin machines.
• Check and clean lint screens and filters as necessary.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment to management.
• Provide refunds to customers as needed.
• Restock soap vending machines and report inventory counts.
• Wear uniform during the workday.
