The Laser/Plasma CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and tending various machining tools or robots in the facility. The primary work consists of general machine operation of CNC laser/plasma cutting tables, following specifications and procedures for set-up and machine operation using standard work. The operator must consistently achieve productivity goals and select, assemble, and set machine tooling/consumables. The role also involves pulling materials using a forklift, loading proper materials into machinery utilizing overhead cranes, jib cranes, and rigging when necessary, and unloading and organizing parts and scrap off the machines. The operator will check quality against job specifications, record part numbers and purchase orders accurately, and maintain a safe and clean working environment while adhering to the Company Code of Conduct.
