Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Review jobsite needs with Foreman and Superintendents to comprehend scopes of work per plans and specifications.
  • Perform physical labor for jobsite clean-up, rough carpentry, site logistics, and other tasks as directed.
  • Inventory supplies and communicate restocking needs to the Foreman.
  • Ensure compliance with Turner standards, safety codes, and jobsite security among all workers.
  • Display teamwork, integrity, commitment, and leadership in daily operations.
  • Understand and follow work instructions, project signage, and safety instructions from tool manufacturers.
  • Participate in daily Pre-Task Plans and adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment and tools.
  • Perform selected demolition tasks as needed.
  • Assist in managing subcontractor and supplier activities.
  • Maintain project perimeter security and cleanliness, participating in end-of-day clean-up activities.
  • Perform fire watch duties and construct scaffolding as required.
  • Manage dumpster vendor schedules and maintain cleanliness in dumpster areas.
  • Act as a spotter for heavy equipment operators to ensure safety.
  • Secure equipment and work areas during operations.
  • Identify and escalate problems to supervisors for resolution.
  • Track production of completed tasks and assist other craft workers as directed.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and colleagues.
