About The Position

NCW Staffing is seeking multiple Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses (RNs) to work in Walnut Creek, CA. This full-time contract position offers a pay rate of $75 per hour and requires availability for a minimum of three shifts per week. The role involves providing care to patients during labor and delivery in a hospital setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and newborns.

Requirements

• Current California RN license.
• 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring certification with AHA.
• Current Covid-19 vaccination with booster.

Nice To Haves

• High Risk OB experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in the delivery process and provide immediate care to newborns.
• Educate patients and families about labor and delivery processes.
