Junior Electrical Engineer (ON-SITE - Arlington, VA)
About The Position
As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will serve as an engineering consultant and technical expert on mission-critical infrastructure, systems, and equipment. You will apply professional knowledge of scientific and engineering concepts, principles, phenomena and relationships to assess specific requirements, delineate appropriately engineered designs, and develop preliminary and final design plans, engineering specifications, cost estimates and procurement packages in support of the operation, preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical. electrical, plumbing, utility and mission critical systems and equipment. This position is located ON-SITE with our customer in Arlington, VA.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- This is an entry-level role; it requires 0-2 years of experience.
- Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Must have familiarity with Visio, CAD, BIM, Energy Management and Modeling.
- Familiarity with graphics / publishing software is required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain up to a Top Secret clearance due to our customer requirements and the nature of the work that we do.
Nice To Haves
- An Active Secret or higher Security Clearance.
- Relevant experience through employment, internships or education.
Responsibilities
- Specify functional requirements, designs and test components.
