Jr Level Software Developer

The job description requires a software engineer with a current or active security clearance and at least seven years of experience in similar programs. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is also required. The engineer will be responsible for defining requirements, analyzing data mappings, designing dataflow, implementing data transformation, and unit testing. Experience with XML schemas and serialization is required, and experience with other technologies such as STIX, Git CI, NIFI, Kubernetes/Docker, ELK, GraphQl, Zipkin, MinIO, MongoDB, and Redis is a plus. The engineer will work on modernizing malware analysis, developing techniques for metadata storage, and exploring new technologies and prototypes for mission tools and analytics.

• Defining requirements, analyzing data mappings, working with others to design the dataflow through the transformation architecture, implementing data transformation, unit testing, as well as verifying/examining results in corporate repositories.
• Support the modernization of malware analysis and develop techniques for metadata storage for knowledge management to support the defense of national security systems.
• The engineer will be a part of a team who explores new technologies and prototypes new mission tools and analytics.
• The team also develops new algorithms and innovative techniques to address mission related problems.

• Seven (7) + years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required or 4 more years experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR 4 years of additional Software Engineer experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• Defining requirements, analyzing data mappings, working with others to design the dataflow through the transformation architecture, implementing data transformation, unit testing, as well as verifying/examining results in corporate repositories
• Experience with XML schemas and serialization using libraries like Jackson
• Experience with STIX, Git CI, NIFI, Kubernetes/Docker, ELK, GraphQl, Zipkin, MinIO, MongoDB and Redis is nice to have
