About The Position

As an Outside Sales Representative (OSR) at Beacon, your day will be dynamic and engaging, filled with opportunities to build strong relationships and drive business growth. You will start your day with a strategic planning session, reviewing your client accounts and mapping out your customer visits. Prepare for meetings with existing clients and prospects, ensuring you have the latest product information and promotional materials. Throughout the day, you will visit clients' job sites and offices, engaging with contractors, builders, and project managers to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and offer solutions that meet their project specifications. Your goal is to establish trust and demonstrate the value Beacon brings to their business. In the afternoon, you will conduct follow-up meetings, providing quotes and proposals tailored to your clients' needs. Collaborate with your branch team to ensure orders are processed smoothly and delivery schedules are met. Utilize your CRM system to update customer records and track your sales pipeline. Wrap up your day by reviewing your progress and planning for tomorrow, reflecting on the relationships you've strengthened and the deals you've moved forward, knowing you're making a tangible impact on your clients' success and Beacon's growth.
