About The Position

The position involves conducting quotes and estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, taking into account customer contracted rates, historical data, and industry standards. The role requires quantifying labor, materials, and time requirements, ensuring accurate communication between customers and Industrial Valve, and maintaining documentation of all interactions. The individual will manage change orders, timesheets, test reports, and quotes, while coordinating with customers, field, and shop supervisors throughout project completion. Additionally, the role includes accumulating billing data from various sources and assisting in month-end financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Enthusiasm about Industrial Valve and belief in our work capabilities.
  • Understanding of basic math skills.
  • Ability to use computers and computer systems to process and verify information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in communication with customers and personnel.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities and priority setting under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • At least 12 months experience in valve/operations industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quotes/estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Quantify labor, materials, and time requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and well-documented communication between customer and Industrial Valve.
  • Maintain contact with customer and Industrial Valve personnel regarding delays, cost changes, and timelines.
  • Manage all change orders, timesheets, test reports, quotes, etc.
  • Coordinate with Customer, Field, and Shop Supervisors through project completion.
  • Accumulate billing data from multiple sources and issue invoices and credit memos.
  • Assist in month-end financial reporting.
