About The Position

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and operations of a healthcare facility, ensuring high-quality services for customers. This role includes management duties, vendor relations, safety and security oversight, and financial reporting, all aimed at creating a safe, healthy, and sustainable environment for employees and clients.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years management experience in facilities services or a related field preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
• Strong customer service skills with effective verbal and written communication.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify strong talent that contributes to the client's environment.
• Experience with outside vendors, accounts payable/receivable, and budget management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with overall management and operations of the healthcare facility.
• Manage the hiring process and professional development of the team.
• Communicate effectively with staff members and conduct performance reviews.
• Organize and manage daily activities and events, including project and move management.
• Develop office standards, policies, and procedures.
• Manage vendor contracts and coordinate with outside vendors.
• Ensure safety and security for the facility and compliance with local regulations.
• Function as the after-hours contact for property management.
• Manage and track financial reports, attendance, payroll, and inventory.
