About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an IT Systems Administrator Energy to join our team in our Oak Ridge, TN office. This position is responsible for assisting the Senior IT Systems Administrator with daily administration, general troubleshooting, and performance monitoring of the organization's existing enterprise class information technology systems. The role plays a key part in the management, configuration, and implementation of the organization's database applications, along with the ability to administer existing and new applications as identified by management. The IT Systems Administrator will install, configure, maintain, monitor, update, and administer Windows Server 2016/2019 systems, Active Directory, VMware hosts, and applications as assigned. The position also involves administering and maintaining SQL Database servers, engineering applications such as Solid Work PDM and Autodesk Vault, and the Hybrid Microsoft 365 Environment.

Requirements

  • BS in Information Technology or related area.
  • Minimum of 4 years professional computing experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience managing Windows Server-Based Infrastructure.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience managing SQL Servers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience in administration and management of Microsoft SQL Servers.
  • Experience with Veeam Backup and Replication.
  • Knowledge of Windows Operating System hardening concepts.
  • Experience with Engineering Applications including SolidWorks PDM and Autodesk Vault.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Cloud Solutions.
  • Experience using PowerShell and Event Log Collection Tools.
  • Ability to qualify for a Department of Energy Q Level Security Clearance.
  • Good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior IT Systems Administrator with daily administration and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor performance of existing enterprise IT systems.
  • Manage, configure, and implement database applications.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and administer Windows Server systems.
  • Administer and maintain SQL Database servers.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
  • Support in creating and maintaining database standards.
  • Administer engineering applications such as Solid Work PDM and Autodesk Vault.
  • Maintain the Hybrid Microsoft 365 Environment.
  • Administer Multi-Factor Authentication Solutions.
  • Manage Data Backup and Recovery Solutions.
  • Interact with the service desk for troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Execute Change and Incident management.
  • Provide off-hours support during maintenance windows.
  • Provide team training related to Enterprise Systems and Technology.
  • Maintain logs, documentation, and produce reports of activity.
